 Post Topic: Trackview sequence and player spawn problem

Hey,

I set-up a nice lil train trackview sequence. When the level starts (cinematic plays on level load checked) the train will start its course and continuously loop. This all works great except when the player dies and respawns, the sequence stops working.

How can I set-up the sequence so that if the player dies, when he respawns, the train will always reset properly?

you could use a logic:once node and connect it to the start of the sequence.if the player dies,just reset the logic:once node.


What is Green and smells like Blue Paint?

Cool, but how do u detect whether the player dies?

Is there a node for this?

FG node: Game/actorsensor/on death input (i've used it in my doorgunner saga) :)
But i think there is another way to make animation be continious:
You need to write FG sequence: start--->logic any---->play seguence---->previous logic any. If you only changed some parametres in animation itself without FG support, it may really fail on player's death :)
