Post Topic: Bullet time tweak (working) Posted 25.03.2011, 02:02 |
Thanks to Paddywak we can now enjoy the beautiful action of Crysis 2 in slow mo "bullet time"! Quote: Originally Posted by Paddywak View Post Hello ... These are the lines you need for your autoexec.cfg ...

Enjoy ...
Thanks to everyone who helped to figure this out and hopefully you all enjoy sliding into enemies while shooting them, throwing enemies off a building, shooting them in mid air as they fall, and of course leaping over enemies shooting them in the head as you pass over all in glorious SLOW MOTION!

at the cost of my credibility and dignity Ill admit i dont know what your talking about. I know the terminology but have no idea how to put it into practice. I am not a modder, nor have I done any modding more extensive than texture editing. if you could walk me through the steps to make this happen, or just make it happen yourself I would be very grateful.

I think he means that it doesn't work typing in the console but it works in the autoexec.cfg

Does anyone happen to know if there is a way to slow down the sounds as well ?
I can make slower sounds, but that would require adding additional audio files to the .pak file and would still be "static" in duration, as I would like to have a nice way of having sounds that scale dynamically like the variable (.3) speed used in the Bullet Time mode that I believe ShanE wrote.
