When i tried to install the SDK the following error apear:
The Crysis 2 MOD SDK requires a full installation of the game Crysis 2, updated to Patch 1.9
The installation of crysis 2 MOD SDK cannot continue and will now quit.
I have Crysis 2 installed + patch 1.9 + patch Dx11 + patch High resolution Textures
My OS is: Windows 7 64 Bits
Instalation Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Crysis 2
Pls Help!!! I have tried everything, including installing all again.
Would it be posible that someone upload the files of the SDK already installed, so people having the same problem can download the files and not install the editor?[/color][/b]

change "Crysis 2" in the path to "Crysis(r) 2"

I think there should be "Crytek"? Code: C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis 2 Try it and say the result.

If you haven't tried it already, run it with admin privileges, and vista compatibility.
You could always create a new folder on your drive, and install Crysis 2 to that rather than program files, like C:\Games\ rather than C:\Program files\
I tend to avoid installing same programs and all games to programs files, sometimes too much protection.

I Have A different Issue. It says "Can not find the Specified file" when installing then i have no choice but to close the install.
now i have tried all these different ways and nothing works. can someone shed some light on this issue.

Change the installation path to C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Crysis® 2\. Once you reach the point where it asks you to select the installation path, go and rename it back to C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Crysis 2\ as levels will not load or save if you have a trademark symbol in the installation path.

Yup Still have the same problem I have done everything correct nothing changed.
Still "can not find the specified file, Install will now Close"

Are you sure you have no "Crytek" folder there?

Okay Now I have also tried that by changing folders and still nothing but this time i get A patch window,
which by the way i already have.
Is this some random binary code flaw or is the editor god mad at my computer?

I have the same problem, tried installing both the 1.0 and 1.1 versions and changing installation path but to no avail. I have the game installed on a secondary HDD and windows on my primary SSD, is that the problem maby?

try to install the game and the sdk on d/ than if it work try to copy it to c/
