Welcome to my WIP thread!
I'll always try to keep first post clean & updated with stuff that's finished.
Last update was regarding M16A4 rifle I was working on for Project Earth. Unfortunately, real life obligations didn't allow me to keep my work active on that project and I decided to leave. I removed all the work I've been doing for that project from this post and from now on, it will only get updated with my new stuff.

good idea, but it's better to create a theme when you already have the result. And there's a lot of animation, a lot. Sometimes I myself do not have the patience to do these animations, and the quality of animation takes a long time. So think before you make weapons.

This is WIP thread inside Gallery/Assets, so I wanted to show what I'm working on. There is other forum part for releases. Regarding animations, it will not feature custom animations at this moment, it will probably use Feline's animations until there is a proper tutorial on how to export/import custom animations into CE3. I am aware of time needed for the custom anims. @Dj-iceman Thank you!

You want to make it?..Make it bud..Pretty good start, make sure you pay attention to detail,as it will help the skinner no end if the baked normal and ao are top notch.

Thank you BuLL! I will be skinning/texturing it. I already checked in game if normal map is good and it shaded fine. There are few little mistakes on normal/AO but I'll fix those in PS with smudge. Btw. the image I posted in the first post is low poly (half baked) version. 3000 polys on that image.

Can I make some suggestions. Quad stack magazine, 60 rounds in the magazine and 300 total rounds (5 magazines total). Quad stack magazines are currently being made for AR15/M16 magwells, the AK 47 magwell. All you have to do is bulge out the lower part of the magazine. No one uses said magazine in a game and I would like to see it done. Surefire is making 60 round and 100 round quad stack magazines for the military and private use.

Small update:
5163 polys, model is almost done (don't mind the "blocky" parts, they are just references). Picatiny rails left to do and few details here and there (switches, trigger...) Regarding quad stack mags, I'll have them in mind - but I can't promise anything.

Thanks Foxhound! I honestly can't wait to finish it, and I'll be more than happy to share this nice rifle with the awesome community here.

I would like to see that in the game. What round to you plan on using and how do you plan to install and enable the weapon into the game?

I plan to make 2 versions, 5.56 version and .50 cal sniper rifle version. Getting it in the game is what troubles me. I'm aware that Youpala ( viewtopic.php?f=310&t=69535) knows how to import a weapon using existing in-game animations so hopefully he will be able to help me out with getting it in the game.

5.56 NATO I can understand but the .58 cal I can not. Currently there is a 6.8 SPC variant and the 6.8 SPC has ~+30% more Kinetic Energy than the 5.56. Though I can understand the temptation for a .50 cal variant a 6.8 variant makes more sense. The Steyr AUG is not known for sniper quality accuracy (it does not have a free-floating barrel). Now if you used a model that does currently use .50 cal ammo for instance the Barrett XM500 then I will not bother to offer objections. After seeing your Stery AUG model I would like to see you take on the Barrett XM500.
