Your trees are awesome. Are you going to allow it to be used in free games, not just mods?

Yes sir, the Licence for use is for Non-Commercial, and Commercial after approval of the use of the pack per studio/project.
Basicly it will be open and free for any CryDev Member.

I would like the Pak to only be available here on Crydev personally, other than that hosting screenies of it isnt an issue.. one of the clauses in the agreement are that it wont be redistributed without permission.. Which of course only means that you have to ask me first.

Very nice you'r work. My work takes a long time, because my 3dsMax skills are not the best. At the moment I'm working on textures and ideas. I also have a game idea, write texts and so and work must be to. Not enough time.
Good Luck.....

If you get me a picture! mwahahaha! Right now im trying to find a good image to use as a texture for porcini mushrooms I cant seem to find any that are close to top down. @Chicken: what kind of detail are you looking for exactly? you want something that will hold up well under close scrutiny? or something you can have tons of em? lol

The textures are looking great, although the needle part appears a little flat - maybe a normal map with more depth (as well as some more baked-in AO) would help to grunge out the smoothness a bit? The shape of the branches seen from side is pretty uniform and symmetrical, it makes the tree silhouette less realistic... The dead branches are spot on, though!

okay Grim, I'll see what I can do.. I think the normal map is already pretty strong though.. I couldnt have a worse TOD right now as its the default one.. I agree about the shape from the side, however when i vary it up it looks like there are branches just all mangled rather than the more natural evenness that these tree's show in RL. They are oddly symmetrical. I'll see if I can add a hint of it without going overboard. The dead branches were pretty costly, but I think for the more HP versions it was totally worth it.. I can easily Billboard the branches from far away if the LOD system gets fixed. Thanks for the constructive crits Grim, i'll see if I can push these tree's to perfection!
