Post Topic: A little gift for the community. (M4 beta 2 now on pg. 5) Posted 08.12.2011, 06:06 |
Hey guys, I figured I'd release a few weapons for the community to enjoy - both free SDK and mod SDK people. Someone will have to animate it for the Mod SDK though, since I'm backlogged on work for an undisclosed indie project right now. Free SDK people will get it soon, since I already have animations made up for assault rifles. So if someone wants to take a shot at it, let me know, and I'll send the files over when the weapon is fully textured. The animator will receive credits where due.
Here's the first in the series - an M4A2.

Here goes..Front sight is quite inaccurate.Circular areas on top of front grip should be concave, along with rectangular pieces on the stock.Good luck, looking through the pin prick in the rear sight. Receiver area looks decent on the side viewable, although the text does intimate "carbine",which would require a much shorter barrel length...Just a few crits m8.

Well it's only because I do most of my work in the free SDK.
Thanks for the crits Bull. I'll get on that.

I don't think the M4 has ever had a wooden grip (though what do I know)... Looks great Rad, can't really think of any crits now - we'll leave that to BuLL.

The grip is plastic I think.

Ah ok, might be JPG compression or something, just looks like a wood/tree notch about where the base of your thumb would go on the grip
