Just prefer the way the "Revenge of the Dark" is done in some kind of cryptic neon glow, better themed, i think. The yellow is just "fun". I think the new logo would be better suited to a game about the stone age, rather than a colourful, fun game like Rayman.

I see the truth in that. However, I do plan to bring sort of a very dark mystical feeling in the background, so having it all bright an colourful wouldn't always work, even though that may be the outside appearance. I do find the neon blue glow quite attractive like you said, but it doesn't quite do the global atmosphere of this game justice in the way I would want it to, if you know what I mean. The logo comes up in the title screen rendered in the engine, so it will also have the forest colours bouncing off it, giving it a more vibrant look.
On a side-note, I finished the Lac-Mac model:

Yes, I know his ears in the second picture are far too high poly, I'll fix that, this is just a slightly older wireframe shot, as you can tell by the detached hand.

I do indeed, though since I'm working on it being quite a lengthy and high quality production, I'm guessing it may be finished between 2016-2018.
I've finished texturing Lac-Mac, and I've also made the arms a bit shorter since they were ridiculously long before:

I actually improved him more by editing the colours, and improving the eyes, nose and ears textures, plus I made the ears a little more inconsistent to look more membranous:

AND LASTLY, download the first stresstest! Unfortunately you don't play as Rayman (as his entire scripting was left on my hard drive that's currently in for a recovery), but rather as the standard FPS character. It's just a small, detailed environmental area you can walk around in to test the performance:
I sort of wrote the instructions for dummies, since most of the people on the Pirate-Community obviously wouldn't be accustomed to game design and CryEngine. Ignore the part about emailing me for a username and password, as it's been saved for global sharing.
