Your map looks pretty good dude : my main crit concern the cloud material or color that "clash" with the sky / lighting at day time.

Map looks very good!  But maybe if you change your night ToD more darker it will be look more real.  I think so...

Thanks for the good feedback! @F37 I changed the clouds to make them fit better with the TOD and I'm pretty match done with that, just need to do some small adjustments here and there. @megalolpronoob Made the night look darker between 03.00-4.45 and 21.30-22.30! The rest of the night is brighter due more stars on the sky. Now working on a small harbour/asain base. Just need to get my textures working again since I can't get "Surface Textures" applied anymore.

2 months ago?! With this result.  This map is looking very well done even for experienced level designers judging to your shots. What will you show us after some years of working with engine in this case ?

@andrey - Thanks for the kind words, I'll try my best to get better so that I'll be beast with the editor if CV4 comes out  . I added a crashside to the map which will be the location where the player spawns! I'm not really satisfied with the outcome yet so I'm still changing some stuff. Here are a couple of pictures...   (Does anybody know how to make fog/smoke like in the beginning of the map "Harbour"? Didn't figure that out yet, but it would probably look awesome to have some actual smoke at the crashside!)

You've tried fog volumes and experimented with particles? Right? and are you releasing this soon?

I've started working with the fog volumes today and haven't messed with particles yet. Besides that I've also worked on the general appeal of the map (added dead bodies to the crashside etc.) Thanks to the people on the webchat!
No I'm not planing to release the map anytime soon, sorry.
Btw, I just came up with an really good idea for a mod today! It's all planed out in my head already. Maybe I'll start working on that one soon but first I have to figure out if it will actually work!

Uhm, I think the last screens all look too similar to real Crysis maps, just like you copied them into a new project.. but the map does indeed look great, though you should work more on the mountains in the last picture, unless they're made to be like that (so the player can jump on them and reach the top, in which case, it's a great idea).

Background mountain in 2nd pic is obviously WIP Looks like I am not the only one that like antenna model with particles during night time I am not fond off the yellowish look of your ToD during daytime. Pretty good mapping despite some "shortcuts" on vegetation placement using multiple identical plants Keep it up dude !

-DevilDante It's impossible to jump over the rocks on the last pic. I've tried for hours (literally). Still working on the looks of the map, going to put some funny and some new things in it. (Cave with Maya temple) -F37 Still working on the ToD, almost seems like "everbody" made a better one then mine!  Yes, the mountain on the second picture is still WIP, in generall I've massive problems with making mountains look realisitic. New pics to come soon!
