I want to make a lake that constantly is producing water ripples as if something were being dropped in it repeatedly, except without the object being there. Is this at all possible to make?

you can make a object what moves up and down with flowgraph and make it invisible .

Intel Core i5-2500K
ASRock P67 Pro3
8 GB DDR3-1333
GTX560 2GB
Win7 x64

you could use particles but making them look really good might be kind of tricky

TY for the suggestions, I made a flowgraph and moved an invisible dead body up and down (since regular objects don't splash for some reason) and it works perfectly :D

I'm curious, is it possible to make a bigger splash size?
