yes i definately suggest using tga. I would suggest you work in marmo/max until your model is done, and only then import it to cryengine. If you really must, you can export to cryengine in the middle of your workflow just to check how your stuff plays out in the engine, but never use a game engine to texture. its just not made for that.
NEVER i mean NEVER save as 16bits/pixel TGA ALWAYS save as 24bits/pixel TGA. thats very importanct since 16bits/pixel will seriously suppress the color quality of your map making it look cartoony.

Wow, your CryTIFF plugin looks way different than mine, I mean, not the whole export window, but parts of it...

you should only use 32bit for when you have an alpha channel.

It's the new version of the plugin. You'll find it in the Tools folder, where it usually is.

I fixed most of the major issues. (No, that's not the mod sdk, unfortunately. I wish it were, heh!)

I know this is a dumb question but I can't figure out which folders should each of those folder go. By the way from the screen captures it looks really nice, though the iron sight seems a bit too tall for me (but I can be very wrong).

Really amazing work you made! I've tested it and it works perfectly. Is it free to use? I might be using this in some project and you should be correctly credited so PM me with the details

The folders will be placed in the correct spots automatically that way.

Wow. Good to see people are still interested in this asset. Anyways, Megaupload got pulled down a while back, so the link doesn't work, and I no longer have the files for this asset, as I've pretty much upgraded my entire computer since this was released.
Could someone with the files please post them up for these guys?

Here are the UVW templates. If you need blanks, I can whip a few up real quick. I'm a little busy myself here with freelance work and this was fastest for me. https://rapidshare.com/files/1425311471 ... plates.zip file not found bro!!
