I finally got mods to show up on crysis steam version, but when i load the mod it restarts the game, but the mod isn't activated after it restarts, what can I do ?

Happened to me with QMOD by promuckaj. Well, try the 1.2.1 patch

Or if the mod also has .bat files inside the mod folder, launch it via that.

Hey,
Whats the mod you are trying to use ?
I am not familiar with the steam version of Crysis because it has many flaws such as no 64 bits exe and weird mod support.
You may try to add a shortcut on your desktop and modify the properties adding -mod -name_of_the_mod.

The 1.2.1 hotfix for Crysis only fixes : * Fixed security hole in code that caused client and server crashes.
That shouldn't impact your issues.

I think EIM mod required a manipulation with the editor also.
You should try a SP "campaign" mod such as "FCFort" or "mandate of heaven" to validate the ability of your steam version to run mods.

Man, i wish this was less complicated, can I run the EIM mod in the editor ? I don't know, I havn't followed EIM updates since more than one year. I still suggest you to try a SP campaign mod first. Custom levels are more fun to play than a tweaked Crysis campaign (even if I tweaked it a lot  ).
