Cool. Now if we could get Softimage support, life would be awesome.

Sounds great, I'm doing a lot of rendering in 3ds Max and the render passes feature plus saving to PSD will be a huge improvement!

I dont see much of impressive feature from 3ds Max 2013 / Maya 2013.
Just started to use Modo and i'm really enjoy it. Wish Crytek add native support Modo to CryEngine3 pipeline.

I'm not interested. I honestly can't stand the vomit-inducing Material Editor that was introduced in 3ds Max 2011.

I don't get how Autodesk can get away with owning pretty much ALL of the software used in the game industry though, if anyone else had that kind of ownership they would be slapped in the face with a anti-trust suit.

I like modo, it's quick and easy to render and the layer-based material system is interesting, but the UI causes some serious butthurt whenever trying to move stuff or select objects. I'm working with CAD models that need to be rendered, and so far Max handles that much better - in Modo the best I can do is FBX which merges all layers as one object, which makes it painful to select individual window panes or pieces of furniture etc. Plus whenever there's a change in the source model, in Max I can just update the link while in Modo I have to reimport the whole model and lose all my material assignments, basically doing everything again.

Mudox is nowhere near zbrush. Although it's best texturing tool (mudbox). ZReally nothing better to paint your lp models
