Greetings to all of you.

I have this huge problem, sorry if there's an answered post about this issue but I'm desperate right now. I can't install the 3Ds Max tools in my 3Ds Max. I've already checked the documentation here http://freesdk.crydev.net/display/SDKDO ... +Max+Tools but when I start 3ds Max, it pops up the following message:

Error Loading DLLs
DLL <C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 2011\PlugIns\Cryexport13.dlu> failed to initialize. Error code 126 - The specified module could not be found.

That's it. I can't export anything to CryENGINE because I don't have the exporter. A couple of weeks ago everything was just fine, but then I installed the 3.3.9 version and the chaos started...

PLEASE anyone who can help me with this issue. My graduation project is about developing a videogame but without the tools I can't do anything and I'm kinda desperate right now

Maybe you can try reinstalling Max, or learn Maya^^ joke
Also delete all configs Max made. (AppData, Documents Folder, ProgramData, etc...)

I've already re-installed Max and didn't work either. I even re-installed Windows agian, and didn't work. I'll installing Max 2012 to see if I can fix the problem.

NeoLegends I'll have your advice about learning Maya!

Well, I'm new in the game development world. In my country there's almost none information about game design. I'm trying to learn all I can and find the best programs that suit my workflow.

Wich one do you recommend to me? Max or Maya? and why?

Do you run the 64bit version of 3DSMax 2011 or 32bit? You might have put the wrong plugin file in there.

CryExport13.dlu = 32bit
CryExport13_64.dlu = 64bit

I'm under Windows XP and 3DSMax 2011 32bit. The weird thing is that it worked perfectly with a previous version of CryENGINE (3.7 I think it was, I could export my university campus modeled in Max). But I downloaded the 3.9 and this error started, no Cry Exporter found. The bad thing is that I deleted the old-working CryENGINE version and it's no longer available for download. I'll try to download the 4.0 version to see if it works. I'm kinda desperate I've lost over a month of work.

Thanks to NeoLegends and Kridian for helping me with this issue. I've already fixed it. It seems that the plugin that came with the CryENGINE 3.9 was damaged or something because I downloaded the plugin from this site: http://rghost.net/36986330 and it worked just fine.

That's why I think the CryExport13.dlu was wrong. Hope this post helps somebody else with the same problem!
