Post Topic: How to get an entity be ignored by mouse cursor
PostPosted 12.05.2012, 17:34
Hey,

For example I have a couple of objects which can be selected by the mouse.
They all have a different ID right?
So imagine these objects are inside of another bigger object (e.g a glass box) but the camera is
outside. When I now want to select any of the objects, my mouse will always hit the glass box and
therefore only get's it's ID. How can I change that?

No i mean in game mode.

I'm using the input:mouse and there is the section "EntityID" on the top right end of this node which says: EntityID of the current entity under the mouse cursor.

And here I need an entity to be NOT recognized by the mouse cursor. Instead it should recognize the entity which is behind the one. (in the case of my example i mean an entity behind the "glass box entity"
