Now I can finally use CE3 for one of my Uni modules because I found a tutor who is willing to use a CryDev acc to acess my coursework. That was quite a challenge. :meh:
Anyway now that this obstacle is out of the way I NEED to know how I can submit it in the most convenient possible way!
I think the best would be to put the Cryengine folder into an archive and submit that. However a quick early test I made still had ~1GB size so that won't fit on the CD. :(

There are two conditions for the submission:
a) the level has to be opened in the engine editor to proove that all content is created by me etc.
b) the level must be playable as a game (launcher)

So what files could I strip away since the level will only include assets created by myself and none from forest map....?

I don't really dare to experiment much myself because I fail the module if the digital content doesn't work. 8o

Good day! We are beginning to developers, we are interested in the following question. What do I need to do to the engine assembled a separate game client. To further spread. Of course if my Architectural project will be of interest to the end member at no cost free2play I want to conclude a licensing relationship with the developer of the engine for future work is on a commercial basis. But I can not find a tool to collect the game client. Member ran to their own clients without access to internal resources as the Projects created content will be created by us (models, textures, sounds, etc.) available on their own and fill in this plan will be considered as examples for self-development.

What do we do?

Don't be afraid to experiment, just make a back-up copy of the whole cryengine folder and start stripping away all the assets you dont need. Keep checking if everything still works in the editor.

Or, why not use a DVD?

Don't forget the Tax man...he gets a percent also. ;) Perhaps your license fee will be tax deductable.

i understand that you guys are waiting for some stuff to resolve first, see where you are, and then open up access.
but cant you please, just give us a time line?
like, -after releasing "x" game, or "Y" feature, we're removing the login window.-
or -after this particular point, we're adding a setup builder.-
just... something!

still... the login thing :(
i think writing an app to remove the login would be actually cracking it and i dont think crypeople would like it! so... can't expect that from modders...

Ok so I click the launcher.exe in the Bin64 and an error comes up and for some reason he file D3DCompiler_42.dll is not there. I really would rather not have to redownload the entire file, is there any way I can get just that file?
