It keeps getting better and better! :) Though there seems to be some odd shading/smoothing on the round tablecloth on the first and third screen.

But it wasn't old back then. :) RMS Olympic's A La Carte Restaurant panes was sold after she was scrapped, the panels still exist.

Incredibly beautiful. I'm a beginner working on something. May I ask: How do you make sure that the proportions are right? E.g. how do you know if a door is too big or too small for the character? Do you use a template?

I'm assuming just basic measuring is involved; in 3ds Max, for example, which is measured in cm, you would merely set the cm height to match whatever it is in real life if you wanted.

Modelers are using screenshot's, blueprints, plans but i don't have exact details how they make everything done. But there will be soon update to progress plan along with a step-by-step illustrated process on how a room goes from start to finish.

That aught to be interesting. I would imagine that the texturers have one of the hardest jobs, since it looks like almost none are reused, which is beautiful.

Also, if I may point out, I think the tablecloths look a little low-poly and come across more like plastic casings than actual cloth. I think we need something more 'drapy.' I'm sure sacrificing a few polys for a great look won't do too much harm. :)

Yeah the tablecloths are pointed out to the modelers. These are still WIP screens so don't worry. :)

The room itself is a little over 102,000 polygons. Each chair is made up of 1,128, so multiply that by the 150 chairs in the room, plus the tables and you get around 290,000 total + set of dishes what are still to come.
