Ah yep, has been restored. Few articles got moved around internally which made them become deleted on freesdk site. Will fix it up.

An offline version would be nice! I released such a thing in the past, but that didn't work very well due Confluence, I think. The complete Docs as a PDF would be really great!

The problem about that, is the fact that the documentation is being updated with every Cryengine 3 release... A multilanguage documentation will be good to. And the best of all, is that the traslations can be made by members for free. But the problem is the same. What can be done, is the offline version the documentation of Crysis Wars SDK. Which percentage of the CE2 and CE3 are the same docs? I want to see more detailed documentation about how to make proper subtitle, onscreen text, textures , voiceovers and lipsink multilenguage localizations.

Quote: I want to see more detailed documentation about how to make proper subtitle, onscreen text, textures , voiceovers and lipsink multilenguage localizations. I'm pretty experienced in that category, there is one tutorial in the docs talking about localizations and one for the facial editor, which you have to use for lipsync. There also some old Crysis tutorials that are still valid for the CE3 and very in depth. There is also a tool flying around, which enables you to do automatic lipsync for English dialogs using Windows Speech SDK (not perfect, but with a bit of cleanup pretty good). Of course some more tutorials would be nice, but for now just search a little bit around and ask specific questions in the forum, I'm sure others and I are able to help you out

Any news about that ? It's been almost 4 months since I asked the following: Quote: Quote by Pat21: Or can we generally expect to get an api-reference in the near future ? Would be really cool and useful. Sry for pushing this question again, but with the release of the new sdk-build I just wann know if you can you give me an answer on the question ? Just wanna know if something like this is already planned or not and if yes, how long it might take until it'll be released ?

Hey Crytek-Team, in this documentation: http://freesdk.crydev.net/display/SDKDOC3/Cloth+Setupis a big part of knowledge missing. My actual problem is to link a flag and sails to a Sailing Vessel. Entity Cloth I cant use, because the engine doesnt support Cloth Entity at an vehicle. In this tutorial and in the samplefile isnt declared how a bonechain is driving a mesh (like my flag). For the polycount the ship is splitted in 5 parts, one of it are the flags. Now I need some good tutorial how to link a animated flag to an vehicle. Vertexanimation like nCloth Dynamics in Maya wont work as usable animation for export, so Im at and dead end how to work out this problem.

I assume this has been mentioned already but using the C++ API without any reference at all is a real pain. It eats up all my time to figure out how your API is designed. Any chance this will be added in the future?

Adam, that would be really good for us to see a PDF file.So we can learn CE while not at home. Multilanguage is too hard I think and I don't think we need it,but it's IMHO

This is how the PDF export would be:
Is that what you want?
