Welcome to Cell Plaza...The place between Hargreave Rasch HQ and its Lab facility.. where shops, eateries and comforting outdoor surroundings has now become a battlezone.

About the Level:
Well most of the pics are in its daylight setting at under gamer quality.. I was considering making the MP portion in daylight and keeping SP night.. still undecided and thoughts would be helpful..
Also as you will see theres an underground shop area that I was thinking of closing for different MP modes such as Recover the Tick, or Flag.. and having open for IA / TIA..
Well time to show what ive been up to at SteelTek..

:This Pak contains misc files that are needed to play all SteelTek Levels..

But yeah the level is amazing and the pics cannot show the gameplay value it has..
I hope some server picks this up.. So ima cross my fingers n see what buzz this brings..

add more decals and i think night is the best Image
because the day version looks like a pre-export models in 3ds max :p
one more,flying helicopters above will make it more exciting

Yes, I'm adding more decals n trash it up a bit.. it might actually look better at day but I use custom settings below Low settings.. I just want to get this map out but will play with settings once I'm closer to release..
Maybe I'll release a basic demo.. I wanted a vid but my PC really bites!!
If I release a demo it won't be for a few weeks..

no it didnt look better at higer settings.. ive changed alot of the params.. better for MP but i still get bad fps but i havent optimized the underground or mini base as im still working on those.. normally no Tri's higher than 500, poly count at any time.. but its jumping now.. !
I put those alien barricades at the crash site.. but will most likely delete it.. as its useless and covers up the crashed buildings.
cant wait till i finish.. I will not be posting anymore pics until its complete

Any idea of when you might be done? I'm seriously eager to try this map out :D Looks amazing so far, keep up the good work.

Well I can say that my level design has been a small amount of time in my daily routine and that I will be devoting more time to it.. plus once I move and settle in I'm planning on devoting more time and optimizing work flow..
Blame Crysis 2 MP :)
Seriously this level was supposed to be done months ago soo ima say July 4th.. the level should be complete and ready to make MP / SP DM .. then once I have 3 Levels finished Ima make it into a level for the campaign..

On a side note, I'm not sure if you noticed but your map reminds me quite a lot of Halo 3: ODST. The architecture, the lighting, it's very reminiscent of some of the levels in that game.

For you to have replicated (by replicated, I don't mean copied, I just mean that you've created your own unique level that is of such a similar quality) such a high level of quality in level design is amazing, kudos to you sir.

Thanks for the comment.. I would still play Halo but it's 360 Exclusive.. :(
Well things are smooth as the hardest part was making the army base, really!
Of course its not complete but I'm soo happy I have the layout complete..
The base itself has 3 levels so far with bottom able to access the plaza itself.. the upper 2 floors are only accessible from the front ramp..

I thought I'd add that for MP the map is great for classic but still balanced using a Nanosuit !

oops this was a double post.. so im to bed!
Any other people want to comment.. i was thinking of releasing a beta demo.. unplayable , just move around n shoot guns.. my Video Software sucks.. my PC really!

I'm off the next few days and broke so I'm grounded.. will see how far I get..!

I think I will be releasing this unfinished , its a complete map, missing some decor and Ai.. I will be going back to school and will not be able to do anything else.
someone can quickly add and make something.
