 Post Topic: Average RAM amount?
PostPosted 02.07.2009, 07:38
Although its not a direct question to a problem, this data could help me out a bit:

Im currently working on an unannounced map for Crysis, that is rather large, and uses a fair bit of RAM. I'd like to tweak it so it works on the most amount of machines that people here use, but i have no clue as to what that is. I also cant really use my machine as a basis becuase im using 12GB of ram..., and my other rigs either dont run crysis well at all [low. maybe decent fps @ 1024x768]

So, what is the average ram size?

1) Less than 1GB
2) 1-2GB
3) 2-4GB
4) 4-6GB
5) More than 6GB

Thx to those who have posted so far!

If a mod could make a poll, it would be a lot easier, but either way, good data so far [not enough to make a good estimate of the crymod comunity yet though]
