Fine looking model and the weapon itself has some serious appearance. Making any goodies with it?

BTW: only the first image downloads as high-res...

SKILIFT

Heres another one of those old dusty models I've had in my drawers.
Its a skilift i made for a map i was building that was set in a ski-resort type of environment.

I might make a new reflex sight for it. I dont really think the default reflex sight in crysis is as good as it could be.

Time for a new model!

Some dude ordered a three barreled battle rifle (go figure) on msn, and ive been working on it for a couple of days.

Here is what I have come up with so far:

Image

I apologize for the horrible quality jpg.. I just made a quick render to show him where I was and I thought id post it here too.

As you can see, I've only done the barrel and the front part of the pistol. The rest is just crappy blueprints I made in paint.

EDIT: i have also been hard at work on a Smart Parts ION XE (paintball gun) which is part of the reason i have only gotten this much done in 2 days

ill be posting renders of that in a day or two

Heres the other model i have been working on. Its an ION XE paintball marker manufactured by Smart Parts. Model is still very basic with 0 optimization

I am also aware that the handle looks crap :D
EDIT: I have updated my opinion and now i think the whole thing is crap. remaking now.

Stay tuned for more updates soon.

I decided i wasnt happy with my paintball marker (at all) so i thought id have another go :D
heres where i got in 1 hour.

so far i have made the barrel cap. I thought it looked cool and that it would be a distinguishing part of the paintball gun, so i figured i would start with it.

Image

the white cap is part of a super duper hipoly model i recieved directly from Smart Parts. It has around 40k polys so i will only be using it as a reference and maybe to bake some bumpmaps (if i get around to learning that)
