looks wery good. I`m afraid your idea comes a bit too late. There are several TOD improvement mods for Crysis out there already. So in order to get peoples attention you`ll need to make yours even better than those other mods, and it wont be easy.

But anyway I like those pics.

I know it, but I have had the game for less than one year. Do you think a medium version will get people's attention ?

well as you might have noticed this thread isn't exactly swarming with positive comments.

I like those pics...but I`m afraid it looks like I`m your only fan atm.

I like what you have so far ;) I would suggest a medium version as i've had alot of people ask me for a lower end ToD mod, so there is a demand for it :) it also allows me to not create one and move on with my other projects more :P :D

keep it up it looks very nice so far ;)

OMG, a positive comment from the god of Tod's !
I started to work on the medium version when I started the high version, so I think I can do that.
And if it helps you...

I think thats a good idea since there is a demand for a medium "Reality" TOD

Good luk : )

ToDo list :

- Make realist lights without HDR
- Make a realist sky
- Make a volumetric fog (Harder in medium)
- Add a flowgraph for blur effects and camera movements
- Adapt it for each level of Crysis (In "Tank" level, the water looks strange when I use my Tod)

Ok, I'll start tomorrow (In France it's 7:35 PM)
So good night. (Or good "Day")

looks like a good start although i noticed a lens flare in the first comparison :? i didn't know there were lens flares on the lower settings.

you've manage to create more depth with the fog which is great, the next step is to look at some reference of tahiti (where crytek went for crysis) and work on creating more shadow depth (without making them too dark or blowing out the highlights in the sky/sun)

It's not a lens flare, it's the moon. :cheesy:
I can find a lot of reference with google image, but the big problem in medium is, as you say, the difference between darkness and light.
Thanks for the advice.

You DO know that HDR doesnt take much performance.

I have an ATi 2600hd and i run high at about 15-20 frames. And Medium with HDR applied takes like 2 frames away. In editor.

You are right, but there are people who don't know how to enable HDR in medium settings.
